What the app is

Jet Window shows flight status, aviation weather, airport information, and related travel guidance from third-party data. It is provided for personal, informational use.

Not an operational or official source

Jet Window is not an aviation authority and must not be used for flight planning, navigation, or any safety-critical or operational decision. Always rely on your airline, the airport, and official sources for authoritative flight, gate, and schedule information. Aircraft "instruments" in the app are for interest only and are not certified instruments.

Guidance features

Jet lag, calm-flying, and similar guidance is general wellness information, not medical advice; consult a clinician for medical questions. Passenger-rights and compensation information ("you may be owed…") is a general, best-effort estimate based on flight data; it is not legal advice and not a guarantee of eligibility or payment, which depend on rules and circumstances we cannot fully determine.

Subscriptions

First Class is an auto-renewing subscription sold through your Apple ID. Payment is charged at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple ID subscription settings. Prices are shown in the app before purchase.

Data attribution

Flight status, position, filed routes, airport boards, gate times and Foresight predicted times: Contains AeroAPI data © FlightAware LLC 2026. Foresight is FlightAware's prediction service; predicted times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Jet Window is an independent app and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by FlightAware.

The interactive airport map, its indoor floor plans, and the static airport previews are © Mapbox and © OpenStreetMap contributors. Route, ground and light maps are drawn with Apple Maps.

The OpenStreetMap data behind those maps is © OpenStreetMap contributors and is made available under the Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0. Jet Window's own presentation of it is ours; the underlying data remains under ODbL, and any database we derive from it and publish would be shared under the same licence.

Aviation weather comes from the NOAA/NWS Aviation Weather Center; aurora and space weather from the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center; national delay, ground stop and closure information from FAA NAS Status; aircraft registry details from the FAA Releasable Aircraft Database; border wait times from U.S. Customs and Border Protection; and airport runway and frequency reference data from OurAirports. Those are public domain or public U.S. government data. Airport information broadcasts come from atis.info.

Weather radar imagery comes from RainViewer. Airline symbols come from Kiwi.com. Aircraft photographs come from planespotters.net and remain the copyright of the photographer credited beneath each image.

Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app: no attempts to disrupt it, reverse-engineer it beyond what the law allows, or resell its data.

Disclaimer and liability

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions made in reliance on the app's information. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.
