Jet Window vs Flighty
Flighty is a very good flight tracker, and this page says so. If you want a Friends network, an Apple Watch app, or years of machine-learned delay predictions, buy Flighty. Here is what Jet Window does differently, at about two thirds of the price — and every claim below is checkable in both apps.

Being fair about it
What Flighty does better
- A real social network. Friends, a feed, shared trip history. Jet Window has live share links, not a network.
- Every Apple platform. Watch, iPad, Mac, and a web dashboard. Jet Window is an iPhone app.
- Years of machine-learned delay predictions and gate predictions, trained on data Jet Window simply has not existed long enough to collect.
- Automatic email sync, if you are comfortable connecting an inbox.
What Jet Window does differently
- The free tier is a working flight tracker, not a trial. Scan a boarding pass, see the inbound aircraft, read why you are delayed — none of it paywalled.
- Privacy as a design rule. No inbox access, no social graph, no tracking. Import is something you do, never something done to you.
- Built for the window seat: which side to sit, the light you will fly through, aurora on the polar red-eye.
- Calm by construction. Alert noise is budgeted per flight in the server, not left to your notification settings.

The comparison that matters is the one you run yourself, on your next flight.
